Stick to baseball, 1/25/20.

I had one piece for the Athletic this week, on Atlanta’s signing of Marcell Ozuna. I held a Klawchat on Friday.

My second book, The Inside Game: Bad Calls, Strange Moves, and What Baseball Behavior Teaches Us About Ourselves, is due out on April 21st from Harper Collins, and you can pre-order it now via their site or wherever fine books are sold. I also sent out a fresh edition of my free email newsletter this week, revealing my Hall of Fame ballot.

And now, the links…

  1. Keith,
Do you see yourself doing a review of this game any time in the future?

  2. Regarding the elimination of the clean water regulations, the new rules proposed by the previous administration never went into effect. Repealing the regulation won’t have any impact on the cleanliness of our water. The individual states will still be in charge of regulating those waterways and some have stricter regulations than the federal proposals.

    • I’d feel better about this if it weren’t for the problem that lax regulations in one state will impact those states around it, as water doesn’t recognize borders. And unfortunately the administration is signaling that it is completely on board with increased pollution. (Not that this is anything new.)
