    Any thoughts on the Angels celebrating their Division Crown, by drinking heavily and dousing a jersey in beer, in honor of Adenhart? Craig made mention, but I am curious about your thoughts.

    Yikes, really? I don’t think drinking alone is such an issue. I would have been impressed if they made a conscious effort not to in his memory, but don’t think it’s reasonable to expect a group of grown men to never drink again because a friend died in a DUI. I do think that dousing a jersey in beer, in his honor, is pretty ridiculous. I’m going to guess it was not a planned celebration, and is probably more the result of obliviousness then idiocy, but who knows.

    Maybe the Cards will celebrate by dousing a stop sign in beer for LaRussa?

    Just curious about people’s thoughts, not passing judgement. The juxtaposition just struck me as..something. Odd, maybe?
