I was wondering if you knew of a resource where I could look at the rosters of MLB teams at various times over the past years. I am curious about the number of teams that have carried 13 man pitching staffs and why they have carried that many pitchers. My guess is that over the years, the teams that are carrying that many pitchers do not perform as well as other teams. This, however, maybe a sample size problem.
