Josh Hawley&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2021\/01\/22\/josh-hawleys-ludicrous-clean-up-act-is-full-swing\/\">ludicrous clean-up act<\/a>,&#8221; to try to undo the damage done to his reputation earlier this month, is already underway.<\/li><li>A new study showed that some bacteria adapt to antibiotics by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2021\/01\/210130092739.htm\">changing their shape<\/a>, which can reduce the surface area for antibiotics to penetrate.<\/li><li>Delaware&#8217;s Senate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wdel.com\/news\/delaware-senate-crowns-anti-discrimination-bill-protecting-hairstyles-approved\/article_b55200b8-60c9-11eb-bea5-2b7c13e32037.html\">passed our version of the CROWN Act<\/a>, banning discrimination against people based on their hair or hairstyle. It has to pass the House and be signed by Gov. Carney, but both are extremely likely.<\/li><li>A Magic: the Gathering card <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/games\/magic-the-gathering\/magic-the-gathering-black-lotus-card\/\">sold for over $500,000<\/a> at auction last week.<\/li><li>Asmodee and Game in Lab announced a clinical study that showed that <a href=\"https:\/\/pressreleases.triplepointpr.com\/2021\/01\/27\/new-clinical-study-shows-board-games-can-help-alzheimers-patients\/\">playing board games might help Alzheimer&#8217;s sufferers<\/a>.<\/li><li>I haven&#8217;t seen or played the game <em>Coffee Talk<\/em>, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/coffee-talk-game-anniversary-origins\/\">this one-year lookback<\/a> makes it sound kind of weirdly fun.
