David Perdue (R-GA) that I mentioned in a link last week. If you&#8217;re still voting for this crook \u2013 who still refuses to debate Jon Ossoff, his Democrat opponent \u2013 I really don&#8217;t know what to tell you.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/health\/archive\/2020\/11\/pandemic-restrictions-no-logic\/617204\/\">The logic of COVID-19 restrictions is falling apart<\/a>, because they&#8217;re determined by economic factors, not by science.<\/li><li>SCOTUS&#8217; decision last week on COVID-19 restrictions, written by &#8220;scientifically illiterate judges,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/11\/27\/opinions\/scientifically-illiterate-scotus-covid-decision-sachs\/index.html\">will cost Americans&#8217; lives<\/a>, writes economist Dr. Jeffrey Sachs.<\/li><li>YouTube finally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/11\/24\/technology\/youtube-under-pressure-over-election-falsehoods-suspends-oan-for-covid-19-misinformation.html?smid=tw-nytimes&amp;smtyp=cur\">suspended the feed of the nationalist One American News Network<\/a> for spreading bogus information on the pandemic \u2013 not for spreading bullshit about the election.<\/li><li>A coffee brand that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/black-rifle-coffee-was-maga-royalty-until-it-turned-on-kyle-rittenhouse\">had capitalized on its conservative political leanings ran into trouble<\/a> when it (rightfully) declined to support accused murderer Kyle Rittenhouse.<\/li><li>Ibram X. Kendi, author of <em>How to Be an Anti-Racist<\/em>, discussed <a href=\"https:\/\/news.harvard.edu\/gazette\/story\/2020\/11\/ibram-x-kendi-discusses-antiracism-in-education\/\">how to make higher education less overtly racist<\/a> in an online talk with Radcliffe and Harvard College Everywhere.<\/li><li>From 2010, Ed Yong, who has written some essential pieces on the COVID-19 pandemic for <em>The Atlantic<\/em> this year, wrote about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discovermagazine.com\/mind\/meet-the-woman-without-fear#.VLxPpFWJOuY\">a woman whose amygdala was so damaged that she can no longer experience fear<\/a>.<\/li><li>The Wall Street Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/parler-backed-by-mercer-family-makes-play-for-conservatives-mad-at-facebook-twitter-11605382430\">profiled the conservative social media network Parler<\/a>, but the real revelation here is that it&#8217;s backed by the Mercer family, whose views are about as neo-Nazi and white nationalist as it gets.<\/li><li>Anti-lockdown twits like to point to Sweden as some sort of success story, but so far <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2020-11-24\/sweden-says-it-sees-no-signs-herd-immunity-is-stopping-the-virus\">there&#8217;s no evidence herd immunity is working there<\/a> \u2013 and they&#8217;re faring much worse than their Nordic neighbors.<\/li><li>Greg Burton writes for the <em>Arizona Republic<\/em> about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/story\/opinion\/op-ed\/2020\/11\/24\/journalists-facing-threats-even-metro-phoenix\/6415260002\/\">how the modern environment has made it more dangerous for journalists<\/a> to do the most routine tasks for their jobs.<\/li><li>On Tuesday, December 1<sup>st<\/sup>, the Welsh Rugby Union is hosting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/wru-community-talks-with-the-autism-directory-tickets-129013271167\">a free community talk on autism and the autism community in Wales<\/a>.
