I also held a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/klaw.me\/3epNGDR\">Klawchat<\/a>&nbsp;on Thursday to take your questions\nabout it. I&#8217;ll do another mock plus a draft ranking this upcoming week, then a\nfinal mock on June 10<sup>th<\/sup>, the morning of the draft.<br>\n&nbsp;<br>\nOver at&nbsp;<em>Paste<\/em>, I&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/klaw.me\/2XcRUcm\">reviewed Azul: Summer Pavilions<\/a>, the third game\nin the Azul series (Azul and Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra). If you liked\neither of the first two Azul games, you&#8217;ll probably like this one as well,\nwhich offers the same tile-selection mechanic but new ways to place and score.\nHere on the dish, I reviewed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/klaw.me\/2U6B0u3\">La Isla<\/a>, a midweight game from the designer of\nCastles of Burgundy and Carpe Diem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My podcast this week featured Dr. Claude Steele, a psychology professor at Stanford and the author of <em>Whistling Vivaldi<\/em>, who <a href=\"https:\/\/theathletic.com\/podcast\/168-the-keith-law-show\/?episode=15\">spoke to me about stereotype threat<\/a> and how players and evaluators might cope with it in sports. Trump is now appointing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/as-trump-removes-federal-watchdogs-some-loyalists-replacing-them-have-extensive-conflicts\/2020\/05\/24\/8dad46a4-9b89-11ea-a2b3-5c3f2d1586df_story.html\">watchdogs beset by &#8216;preposterous&#8217; conflicts of interest<\/a>, like the one who is now responsible for investigating his own actions.<\/li><li>Why do people often support or vote for narcissists in times of trouble? Professor Charles O&#8217;Reilly at Stanford&#8217;s Graduate School of Business explains that and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsb.stanford.edu\/insights\/how-narcissistic-leaders-destroy-within\">how narcissistic leaders destroy from within<\/a>.<\/li><li>Meanwhile, Twitter finally took a very modest step to rein in Trump&#8217;s lies on their site, and <a href=\"https:\/\/popular.info\/p\/twitter-tantrum\">Trump had a tantrum over it<\/a>. <\/li><li>Many African nations have had more progressive \u2013 and, to date, more successful \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/news\/news-desk\/what-african-nations-are-teaching-the-west-about-fighting-the-coronavirus\">approaches to slowing the spread of coronavirus<\/a> than the U.S. has, including aggressive lockdowns and bans on international travel.<\/li><li>My colleague at the Athletic Marcus Thompson wrote about the murder of George Floyd and <a href=\"https:\/\/theathletic.com\/1841111\/2020\/05\/28\/thompson-to-be-in-a-rage-almost-all-the-time\/\">what it means to be in a rage all the time<\/a>.<\/li><li>NPR reviewed federal records showing that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2020\/05\/26\/862018484\/trump-team-killed-rule-designed-to-protect-health-workers-from-pandemic-like-cov\">the Trump administration killed a federal rule<\/a> that would have protected health workers in case of a pandemic.<\/li><li>I found the maps on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ourworldindata.org\/policy-responses-covid\">COVID Policy Responses tracker<\/a> site to be both useful and mesmerizing.<\/li><li>COVID-19 may become endemic, even with a vaccine, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/health\/2020\/05\/27\/coronavirus-endemic\/\">we need to prepare for that possibility (but we aren&#8217;t)<\/a>.<\/li><li>North Dakota Gov.
