The price has varied a bit, but Xenon Profiteer is <a  href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B013ELF2BI\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B013ELF2BI&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=meadowpartyco-20&#038;linkId=U54KQBB2KDMCT6SB\">$26.49 right now on amazon<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=meadowpartyco-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B013ELF2BI\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>.<\/p>\n<p>And now, the links&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A reader sent this along \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rogerebert.com\/interviews\/no-better-job-sacha-pfeiffer-on-spotlight\" target=\"_blank\">an interview with <em>Boston Globe<\/em> reporter Sacha Pfeiffer<\/a>, who worked on the Spotlight team that uncovered the Catholic Church&#8217;s cover-up of priests sexually abusing children.<\/li>\n<li>The EPA is catching flak from industry for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/thesalt\/2016\/03\/01\/468743132\/in-an-unusual-move-the-epa-tries-to-pull-pesticide-from-market\" target=\"_blank\">trying to pull a pesticide from the market over environmental concerns<\/a> \u2013 that is, doing their fucking jobs. This should only be the start, given what neonics appear to be doing to the bee population.<\/li>\n<li>Julie Dicaro had an excellent breakdown of <a href=\"http:\/\/chicago.cbslocal.com\/2016\/03\/02\/dicaro-erin-andrews-the-devaluing-of-women-in-sports-media\/#.Vtc-ENDjzwY.twitter\" target=\"_blank\">Erin Andrews&#8217; testimony about ESPN&#8217;s treatment of her<\/a> after she was the victim of a stalker. <\/li>\n<li>Turns out <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/science-sushi\/2016\/02\/28\/spider-bite-blame-game\/#.VtoS55wrLIX\" target=\"_blank\">many doctors can&#8217;t tell a spider bite from a hole in the ground<\/a>. If you got bitten, odds are good it wasn&#8217;t a spider.<\/li>\n<li>Julieanne Smolinski, a popular comedienne who tweeted as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BoobsRadley\" target=\"_blank\">@boobsradley<\/a>, wrote an excellent op ed on <A href=\"http:\/\/nymag.com\/following\/2016\/03\/julieanne-smolinski-quitting-twitter.html\" target=\"_blank\">why she quit Twitter<\/a>. The short answer \u2013 Twitter still won&#8217;t do jack about the rampant harassment of women on the site.<\/li>\n<li>What does it say about Donald Trump that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/what-does-it-say-about-the-gop-that-trump-is-the-white-supremacists-candidate\/2016\/02\/28\/0d5d0b12-dcbe-11e5-891a-4ed04f4213e8_story.html?hpid=hp_no-name_opinion-card-d%3Ahomepage%2Fstory\" target=\"_blank\">white supremacists are coming out to endorse him<\/a>? A lot, I&#8217;d say, at least about the xenophobic policies he&#8217;s espousing.<\/li>\n<li>The Oscar-winning film <em>A Girl in the River<\/em>, which won for best short documentary, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/global-development\/2016\/mar\/04\/a-girl-in-the-river-oscar-win-pakistan-end-honour-killings\" target=\"_blank\">may be spurring a long-overdue change in Pakistani law<\/a>. What does it say about your country if you have any way for a family that commits an honor killing to escape judgment. <\/li>\n<li>Could cutting the price of produce <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/thesalt\/2016\/03\/02\/468921290\/slice-the-price-of-fruits-and-veggies-save-200-000-lives\" target=\"_blank\">save 200,000 lives<\/a>? That&#8217;s a start, surely, but you have to get people to eat them, which may require time that many folks don&#8217;t have.<\/li>\n<li>A podcast episode I highly recommend: The BBC looks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/p03km094\" target=\"_blank\">America&#8217;s &#8220;angry cowboys&#8221;<\/a>, the ranchers in eastern Oregon whose grazing rights on federal lands may disappear if that territory is declared a national monument.
