{"id":395,"date":"2008-12-05T20:09:06","date_gmt":"2008-12-06T00:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.meadowparty.com\/blog\/?p=393"},"modified":"2008-12-05T20:09:06","modified_gmt":"2008-12-06T00:09:06","slug":"grilled-baby-bok-choy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meadowparty.com\/blog\/2008\/12\/05\/grilled-baby-bok-choy\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Grilled&#8221; Baby Bok Choy."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Again, just the recipe here.<\/p>\n<p>2 heads baby bok choy, rinsed and roughly chopped (leaves and upper stems)<br \/>\n1 clove garlic, slivered<br \/>\n1 small dried chili pepper<br \/>\n1-2 tsp toasted sesame oil<br \/>\n2 tsp honey<br \/>\nSalt &#038; freshly ground black pepper to taste<br \/>\nToasted sesame seeds<\/p>\n<p>1.\tToss the bok choy in a bowl with all remaining ingredients except the sesame seeds.<br \/>\n2.\tPlace the bok choy mixture in the center of a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Fold up the edges of the foil to enclose the bok choy in a packet, crimping all edges to seal it and then poking two or three small holes in the top of the packet to allow steam to escape.<br \/>\n3.\tPlace the packet on the grill just barely off of the heat (somewhere between direct and indirect heat). Grill for 8-10 minutes until the bok choy stems are tender, although you&#8217;re going to have to guess at when that is.<br \/>\n4.\tOpen one small end of the packet and drain off any excess liquid.
