She loves Elmo and most things Sesame Street (that&#8217;s my girl), so my wife bought her a DVD called <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000G0O5F0?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=meadowpartyco-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B000G0O5F0\">Sesame Street &#8211; Elmo&#8217;s Potty Time<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=meadowpartyco-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B000G0O5F0\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/><\/em>. And we&#8217;re sitting here watching it when they cut to a rap song about toilet paper &#8230; and I&#8217;m thinking, &#8220;I know that voice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Long story short, it was <a href=http:\/\/frontalot.com\/index.php\/>MC Front-a-Lot<\/a>, the greatest nerdcore rapper of them all and the man behind &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/frontalot.com\/media.php\/79\/mc_frontalot_-_which_mc_was_that.mp3\">Which MC Was That?<\/a>&#8221; which is both catchy and hilarious. (Sample lyric: &#8220;Was it MC Pain-in-my-ears-just-to-listen? (If it was him I wouldn&#8217;t miss him.)&#8221; Maybe you just have to hear it.) IMDB confirms that <a href=http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1952356\/>it&#8217;s him<\/a>, as MC Front-a-Lot is just the <i>nom de mic<\/i> of Damian Hess.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no real point to this other than to express to my surprise at hearing MC Front-A-Lot on a Sesame Street DVD, but I guess someone at Sesame Workshop has good taste.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So my daughter is two-plus now and she&#8217;s around the age for potty-training.
