I also posted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7266838\/2026\/05\/10\/mlb-prospects-scouting-liam-doyle-ike-irish\/\">a scouting notebook<\/a> on Liam Doyle, Ike Irish, Dante Nori, and some other Phillies &amp; Orioles prospects, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7250161\/2026\/05\/04\/mlb-draft-scouting-hunter-dietz-hunter-elliott-ryder-helfrick\/\">a draft scouting notebook<\/a> on some Arkansas and Mississippi prospects, three of whom are probably going in the first round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also sent out another epistle of my <a href=\"https:\/\/keithlaw.kit.com\/\">free email newsletter<\/a>. Trying to ramp that up to at least every other week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m on <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/keithlaw.bsky.social\">Bluesky<\/a> more than anything else right now. I\u2019ve also been posting longer videos to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mrkeithlaw\">Instagram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/tiktok.com\/@keith_law\">TikTok<\/a>, talking about players I see or reacting to news, including two clips about the mock. I&#8217;ve also been messing around on <a href=\"https:\/\/beliapp.co\/app\/keithlaw\">the restaurant app Beli<\/a>, if anyone else out there is using it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A very short links post this week, not sure why. Anyway, and now the links\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Longreads first: Babies are dying because their parents have been scammed by online misinformation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propublica.org\/article\/more-parents-decline-vitamin-k-shot-newborns\">into rejecting the vitamin K shot<\/a>, possibly thinking it\u2019s a vaccine (which is also stupid, as vaccines are safe). It turned out that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2026\/05\/08\/georgia-data-centers-water-00909988\">a data center had stolen 30 million gallons of water<\/a> via two hookups, paying for neither.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All life on earth emerged from a single common ancestor, about 4 billion years ago. There\u2019s no public health benefit here \u2013 they\u2019re just pandering to their anti-science base.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We\u2019ve got anti-vaxxers, anti-seed oil loons, anti-sunscreen charlatans, and now self-styled \u201csleep experts\u201d are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/ce84e1vn1l2o\">telling parents to ignore the guidelines on preventing SIDS<\/a>, giving them dangerous advice that is likely to lead to more infants suffocating in their cribs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecity.nyc\/2026\/05\/04\/video-ice-agent-tasing-man-wyckoff-brooklyn-hospital\/\">Video shows an ICE agent tasing a man multiple times<\/a> in Bushwick, NYC, after which the Department of Homeland Security lied and said he wasn\u2019t tased.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fiddler Ashley Macisaac is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2026\/may\/05\/canadian-ashley-macisaac-fiddler-musician-singer-songwriter-sues-google-ai-sex-offender-ntwnfb\">suing Google after its AI search results wrongly tagged him as a sex offender<\/a>.
