Projection #3. Can’t say I love it or feel that confident about it. The Crow situation is complicating matters; his agents are clearly shopping for a landing spot for him, and so far I don’t believe they have found a taker.
Another videoclip, this one about the top arms in the draft. Oh, and Aaron – moving your hands is good presentation style, if you do it deliberately. Waving them around like you’re drunk and ranting … not so much.
My ESPNEWS hit from today. Can you see the bags under the bags under my eyes? Personally I think I sound awful. Also, that shirt is not purple, but it’s purple on my screen. I’ll show you purple – trust me.
I’ll be on with Brian Kenny tonight at 9:25 pm EDT.
Tuesday media schedule includes ESPNEWS hits at 6, 6:30, 7, and 7:30 pm EDT, and the Sportscenter special on ESPN from 9-10.
There will be a Tuesday chat, tentatively at 2 pm, but I might have to push it back to 3 depending on TV.
I gotcha Keith. BTW, hope you’re getting a good vacation after this week…
Shirt definitely looks purple.
Looking forward to – when you have the time – your thoughts on “Next Food Network Star”.
I don’t watch much Food Network anymore due to the direction they’ve gone in, and there is 0% chance I will carve out time for the eventual winner … yet I find this show oddly compelling and along with “Good Eats” the only reason to watch the station.
Quick questions: Where/when is this high school summer all-star game which will be held in North Carolina? (The one which will provide me a peek at Harper.) Also, will you be attending? Thanks.
If it’s not purple, it’s lilac.
How can Crow or Scheppers present any problems with signability? They have about a tenth the leverage as any other top 20 draft pick, which is why two of the small markets will snatch them up in a heartbeat and offer slot, take it or leave it. I doubt either is around past KC’s #12 pick in the first round.
And if you think the O’s pass on both Crow and Matzek you really do need a vacation.
Keith, hope there is a nice long vacation or at least a short nap in store for you sometime soon.
Two questions for you, but since your busy, you don’t have to answer both:
1. If that’s not purple, what color would you say it is?
2. I’ve seen you talk about moving books up in your queue, what online service do you use for books? does it work well for you?
Thanks for all the info, and good luck on getting some rest.
That’s more of a lavender, definitely not purple
If you saw it live, you’d probably call it pink. The tag when I bought it said “carnation.”
Not on topic but i figured i’d throw this question here for you.
What arguments are there against mandatory slot caps? What about arguments FOR killing the draft completely and allowing amateurs to be free agents? Would that kill competitive balance?
Any thoughts?
ES,
Not sure if seeing it there is what prompted you to ask Keith in the first place, but Shyster opened this discussion in a recent post.
Yeah, I saw that after I posted this. thanks
